Building Up An Attractive Portable Display System Using Computer Technology.

When as a budding entrepreneur or an avid businessman you think of promoting your products or services, you obviously think of exhibits that on display could server your purpose. However, the static display modes are now outdated with huge improvement in information technology as you are able to reach out to the furthest and remotest corners of the world sitting at your home with a PC having Internet facilities. Naturally, the bend of mind of the present generation of businessmen is a portable display system developed using computer graphics. The system is lightweight, portable, cost economic and energy savior.

Basic components of the portable type of display based on computer graphics would be a portable computer, LCD Monitor and projector and screen. They together make an invincible portable display system. You can carry these components simply in a couple of carry bags. The process has been further facilitated with the invention of the flat-panel display technologies. Ordinarily, the portable IT tools like the lap top computers use non-CRT display. They use Liquid Crystal Display or gas-plasma panels. All these equipments are lighter and exhibits rare compatibility to each other forming a well managed and linked portable display system that can be conveniently set up in a display booth.

Such combination of portable system is not only light weight but also cost economic and energy efficient since for display lap top computers, LCD Monitors and PC Monitors all consume very little electrical energies. Thus setting them up in a movable temporary booth becomes easier. The best part of it is that this type of display system can easily run on batteries replacing conventional electrical power. A low voltage DC power battery or AC to DC converter may suffice for the portable equipments.

Most popular flat panel displays that are used in a portable display system are the LCD and LCD Monitor. Since these tools are thinly built and also require little power for operating as well as are light weight, they are very convenient to exhibit. This does not mean that such formation deteriorates their quality in any manner. In fact they are more reliable than the fat looking CRT display systems. The LCD Monitor and panel are constructed using thermo tropic liquid crystal material between two glass panels. Horizontally placed electrodes are attached to one such glass plate and fitted on the other. Light passing through the electrodes creates picture elements or pixels at the conjunction points of rows and columns on the monitor. A special plate called polarizer is attached to front and rear of the display unit.

Once the formation of LCD Monitor and panels are ready, they could be mounted on a frame and thereafter is attached to the lap top computer. Each part of the portable display system like the lap top computer, LCD, its projector and screen, and monitor should function properly to provide you the best results on exhibits.

Well, that was the hardware part of the portable display system. Simple, bold and clear images create better impression on viewers and others. The computer graphics has a big role to play here. In addition to the sign display, graphics are the most challenging part of the fabrication of exhibits in a trade show. However, such graphics should be robust and able to survive bad handling, wrong installation, rolling up and slipping so that they do not get distorted in the process creating wrong impressions with the customers.
